In the Magma brand, I have switched to the box style...

I found the kettle maddening to use. It is an inconvenient shape to store, the mount is a bit of a joke (unless you weld the joints) and there are many parts to loose overboard as you assemble it. I now have the Connoisseur Trailmate, it is small enough to fit in a standard 16 qt milk crate (the standard storage unit on 'Anomaly'), and the rail or stanchion mount is pretty solid. Mounting it up is pretty easy, only one part to add (the bottle) and that happens in a way that makes it less likely to lose. The Trailmate is pretty small, two steaks type of thing but perfect for us. It stays lit, but for reasons no one can explain, the hole through which it is intended you put the lighter is too small for almost every lighter sold. You need to enlarge it just a bit.
