Your dad represented all that is great about America: hard work, integrity, humility, generosity, curiosity, graciousness. It was always fun to thumb through the iconic Defender catalog that my father kept handy when I was growing up. It was an honor to meet your family on St Maarten in 1976 when your siblings swam out to my boat. I seem to recall the family vacation was a sort of reward for everyone's help - regardless of age - in pasting together the catalog.
Your father lives on, through the values he instilled in his children.
My condolences to you and your family.
