DQOTD My Yamaha 8 hp outboard has been out of the water for 1+ years and was stored indoors now outside, winterise it?

I ran the gas out of it in the water before hauling home. Gravity drained water out of it but I didn't flush the cooling system.

I may let the garage freeze when we go on winter vacation and that's where it's now stored ... do I need winterise it / bring it back inside where it won't freeze?

Could there still be water that didn't drain out inside the system? It's been over one year, I never put it in this season.

- Should be gravity drained?
  - Ya... gravity drained ... hehe! I mean alll I did was stand the motor upright and let it drain thru the foot.
    - Yeah just pull a starter few few turns
