Should be gravity drained?
In Response To: DQOTD My Yamaha 8 hp outboard has been out of the water for 1+ years and was stored indoors now outside, winterise it?

() When in doubt - Disconnect the spark plug and crank it over to make sure. I doubt you'd get an water out.
