I put the three white dormers on the Federal style house last winter, at the top of the pic Dave spotted.
They were designed and built to fit the old house and open up a harbor view. I tend toward restoration over construction and enjoyed weaving the three dormers into the old slate roof. Fun work, I love that slate roof, and the views were fantastic.
Being a sailor helps when you're putting a dormer on a high roof on the coast of Maine, it will see some nasty weather from all directions.
