I was lucky on the timing, I thought it was early.

I took those photos from 3 to 3:30 2 days ago. Novembers sun is that much lower to start and maybe that the harbor is like a canyon at low tide. I remember I was surprised to see the way the light was working creating reflections of ripples on the boat hulls.

I take these in jpeg and in Iphoto I'll adjust the levels a bit and up the saturation on some. I size them to 1000 pixels for Phils loader, then lower the resolution to under 100 so they'll go.

Lobster boats are great subjects, they're work dirty, hulls ground down from traps dragged aboard, and full of colorful working gear. Dogs are rare.
