I went to Ace to purchase some shrink tube butt connectors. Didn't notice it until I got back to the boat that they were different and not crimp connectors. Upset me a bit because it was more work and my Anchor crimper doesn't work on it but it seems like a better way to go. (solder first and then seal with heat.) I was using them under the shower pan for the float switch on the shower sump.

Anyone use them instead of the standard crimp then shrink butt connectors?
