ABYC, and, therefore your insurance company require a crimp type connecter. Their reasoning is that if the connection gets hot it will separate. Probably not a problem but it you did have a situation your insurance company may use it as an excuse to deny coverage.
On some types of connections, like voltage sense, where a tiny bit of resistance will affect performance, I solder after crimping. This has been discussed here ad nausium - let's not start that again.
