Saturday afternoon was warm and calm, a good day to move the skiff from the Royal River to the yacht club floats in Freeport. We saw a few other small boats on the water but not nearly as many duck and geese as a a couple weeks before. It was a perfect day to poke up the Harraseeket River and take a few photos. Tam O Shanter is a well maintained working craft built by Carrol Lowell in the early 70's. The Lowell brothers, Jamie and Joe, continue the family tradition building boats in their father's shop along the Cousins River in Yarmouth.
