Wednesday is PHOTO DAY!

Motoring for hours and hours down the Chesapeake can make you a little nutty. OK. A lot nutty.

You can see from the photo that we have the pedal to the metal. We're doing 4.7 knots SOG against strong current, finally headed south. Annapolis to Solomon's Island, Solomon's Island to Deltaville, and Deltaville to Norfolk. The last leg was especially dull and boring with nothing but water for 360* at one point.

When I was a sailor, my motor was off and I was sailing as long as the knotmeter registered something. Now that I'm trawlering, anything less than 7 knots SOG is dull and makes me batty.
