Is there a difference in the marine aluminum tanks?

Obviously the welding material is important! I think the joints concern me.

I wouldn't be painting the inside of the tank -- you can't really reach all of the places in it.

Explain to me why you can't drill the new pick-up tubes again -- or even add another access port IN PLACE?

Do you think the mounting pads are "worn-out"?
