Our boat currently has VC17 on it as it was a freshwater boat. We'll be removing the VC17 in April and then the plan is to launch and sail the boat from Annapolis to Portsmouth, RI. For a variety of reasons we'll be hauling out again there and storing the boat for 3 months at NEB. I'm not too concerned about the boat being in cold water for 2 weeks without bottom paint, but timing wise it would be easier to paint in April than in June. My concern is having the boat out of the water for 3 months and the effect on the new bottom paint. Would there be an issue with this paint, or does out of the water time not really matter to the effetiveness of the anti fouling?

Thoughts?
