DiMillos yacht sales in Portland has gone from 5 mil sales in 2009 to 20 mil this year. Their best seller is the new Sabre 42 Express which sells for 1mil! Even more outrageous, I heard on Blue Hill radio that Hinckley has sold 11 or their new T48's that go for 2.5! Blue Hill could be wrong on the number but it can't be too far off, that's amazing.

All the interesting boats(for me) are being built or rebuilt at a gazzillion yards up and down the northeast coast. I was just looking at the Boats of Year listing in MBH magazine. Some great boats being built custom That seems to be where many of the "new" sailboat buyer in the northeast has gone.

Even Morris looks a little slow with their DS boats. Strange times, but it looks like they're coming around, the building yards look busy. Some can't keep up.
