What USCG documentation really entails or means... The CG has not done any inspection of the boats (unless voluntary) and the documentation is basically a title document, but to some, it may appear as a "stamp of approval."

The only thing "special" required of the documentation that we had to do was a title search to verify the lineage of the boat. (that might be the reason a bank would want documentation).
