It required 5 staples to close it and the vet said he came very close to severing a main artery in his foot. Thankfully he didn't and will heal up in a couple weeks.

My question is this. Has anyone ever bought boots for their dogs to prevent them from cutting their feet? I've been browsing for some, but never having had any experience with them, was wondering if anyone has a suggestion.
