We are planning to get our interior re-done in ultra-suede. It's been suggested that piping would add a nice aesthetic finish to the settee cushions in the main cabin. We are tring to decide whether to do this on just the inboard upper edge of the cushions (where your knee bends), or on all edges. The concern is whether it makes it less comfortable to lie or sit on if you have piping where two cushions abut each other in the middle of the settee.
Seems like a trivial little issue, but it's a one-time irreversible decision so I'd be interested what others have done.
Thanks,
Max
