I just got this.
March 21, 2012
Good Morning Fellow Cruisers:
As of Wednesday morning, March 21, a DANGEROUS situation has developed on the primary entrance to Marathon's Boot Key Harbor in the Florida Keys. The powerlines that cross this entrance channel are SAGGING, and virtually ALL sailcraft who attempt to enter or leave what is the most popular anchorage/mooring field in the Florida Keys are at risk!
PLEASE follow the link below if you will be navigating anywhere near Marathon and Boot Key Harbor for the next day or two. AND, those of you who are members of the AGLCA Forum, the MTOA List-Serve, the Cruisers' Forum, the T&T (Trawlers and Trawlering) mail list and/or the GL (Great Loop) mail list (or ANY other nautical forum or mailing list), PLEASE post the link below. HELP US GET THE WORD OUT ASAP TO THE CRUISING COMMUNITY CONCERNING THIS SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING DEVELOPMENT!!!!
Hopefully, this problem will be short lived. You will discover more about that when you follow the link, but in the meantime, we all need to do our part to help get the word out! Enough said. PLEASE go to:

That's all for now. Good luck and good cruising!
