What a great shot--what makes the horizon look so round?
Ultra-wide-angle lens distortion, Marsha
15mm Fisheye Lens
I knew I recognized it as an effect I was familiar with; I just couldn't place it. Tks.
No problem. Both fisheye and rectilinear wide angle lenses are fun to use.
Love the intensity in that dog's eyes
On the water for the first time this season
Paul, is that the yard you can see from Rte. 1 in Freeport/Yarmouth?
That's the one, Nat
The mast in the left of the first pic....
I think that may be mounted in the bed of a cut down school bus
Boston
Nice. Boston at night...
Great shots. Any advice on how to best visit Boston by boat?
I'd think about staying in Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina,
Could probably get a mooring at Cottage Pack YC...
It's pretty far to the T, as I recall.
I haven't tried this, but...

Getting busy in the boat yard
I've always bought the recommended sealant from the local acrylic supplier
I've used Dow Corning 795 with good success.
That looks like good stuff
I just followed the instructions on the back..
I called a few glass shops..
Florida Rigging and Hydraulics...
Sealant for port lights
I'll second the Sika 295UV...
Excellent! My local Chandlery stocks Sika 295UV
I have the very expensive Sika 209Dprimer leftover from my hatch job
Ouch. That is twice the cost of the caulking.
Only has a 9 month shelf life too.
That ball is in trouble. The best cover for a boat is a building.
