I found that one marina had the power socket connected incorrectly. This caused our charger to not work.

Simple solution was to pick up a Electric Receptacle Tester
( http://www.harborfreight.com/electric-receptacle-tester-32906.html ) from some place like Harbor Freight (US $3.99) or an auto parts store. Once I discovered the problem I opened our power cord end, switched 2 wires and was good to go for the week were there. I made sure to re-do the plug after we departed.
