We left Stuart Fl. last week headed for the Abacos. We always went east to Nassau and then south. Coming back it was the same in reverse so we never had a chance to cruise the Abacos but had always wanted to. On this cruise the plan is to spend a month in the Abacos and then head on up to the Chesapeake Bay.

We've been in the Abacos for a few days and I don't understand the attraction. At the moment we're in Great Guana Cay with Marsh Harbor about 9 miles to the East.

So,,,, what are we missing? This area is just kind of 'sucky'. With the lack of good scenery and beautiful anchorages our thought is to go to Marsh Harbor and just tour the town till it's time to head North. So far we've found nothing to write home about.
