I see it all down there right now. Outboard motors haven't evolved much in 50 years.

I still see people tugging on the damn things for first launch, one right after another(some go right back in the car to the shop, just like the old days).

And backing boat trailers down the ramp can be entertaining. Then there's our 10 foot tide which throws a few of the newbies off.

I feel like I live on the harbor this time of year. I spent all Memorial day between my house and the harbor doing some boat work, watching the parade go by with my wife and neighbors, took the dogs swimming in the harbor, several times, took some photos, all on foot.

Then at the end of the long beautiful day I joined several friends again down at Marine park on the harbor for what we locally call a,... "harbor-que",...

I'm just about ready, but it's so much fun around the harbor, I almost hate to launch.
