Reminds me of the day I was unloading the days catch of lobsters at Rye Harbor in NH. A guy and his family pulled up in a fancy Ford station wagon with the wood paneling etc. etc. and the Boston Whaler in tow.
He kept backing, stopping, checking, backing a little more, backing, checking and finally while I was not paying attention I heard the sound of shock and awe of by standers going, "oh", "ohh" "oh no"... Just in time I turned around to see the whole rig rolling onto the harbor. It seems the last time he got out to check how deep in the trailer was he had forgotten to put it in park..... The Whaler floated but was attached to the trailer at the bow, the wagon was not so lucky...... A local lobsterman pulled the rig up the ramp with his pick up truck.. I suspect the car was a total loss but the whole family went out fishing anyway, not much they could do at that point I guess........
