I may even go with the 19 gallon tank, it's a big cockpit locker. It's a much better solution than the outboard tank I was looking at.

Any idea how poly tanks hold out compared to metal tanks? When I get around to replacing the leaking main tank this winter I'll want to use the best, longest lasting material I can find. I don't want to go through this again. The non-corrosiveness of poly has appeal. It looks like my aluminum tank is leaking in a corroded-looking spot along the bottom though it's hard to tell given my limited access.
