Haven't decided yet for sure, but I am thinking of leaving the Chesapeake in November and going straight to the Turks/Caicos, returning through the Bahamas to Florida (perhaps the west coast of Florida). As some of you know I tend to keep moving, two or three days in one place is a long time for me. Those of you who've been there many times, what are the places to see and to skip? How long should I expect to spend? Is there a "standard" cruising guide for the area? Is there any place that you can safely leave a boat for a month or so? We draw 6.5 feet so I think that puts some of the area out of reach....
