Yah, actually I'm thinking diverters just ahead of it about.... 
In Response To: bed that chainpipe well ()
...1/2" tall. Kind of like the ones on the front of a wooden El Toro. That area is lower than the rest due to my desire to have the chain pipe skirt penetrate the foredeck for full protection of the area. The chain pipe skirt is about an inch 'deep'.
