we had one too many hair raising adventures going to the boat and getting off. We were 1/2 way to Isleboro where we were, very exposed to any winds out of the S and while in some ways this was a good thing in the prevailing winds, it also presented some major challenges. The stone we were on was huge as the PO had a 50' Island Trader ketch on it, moving it was out of the question. Also things might be changing in the Belfast Boatyard scene during the coming year. FSS is "rumored" to be making an offer to Belfast Boatyard. A great thing for Alex if he can get some $$$ out of it. I'm not willing to pay FSS rates for hauling etc. so Eaton's in Castine is gonna be my haul/launch yard going forward. I like the family aspect of Eaton's though we are still adapting to the party atmosphere on the dock.
