I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Marlow very briefly several years ago, he's quite a character... Agreed, what he's accomplished in the industry is very impressive, and he builds a beautiful boat...

The Chinese have certainly been pretty good at figuring this whole boatbuilding thing out... IMHO, the two most impressive boats I saw last year in Annapolis were the Leadership 44 from Morris, and the Chinese-built Outbound 46... At least upon a cursory inspection, the quality of that build is stunning...
