Shallow Bay / Cove is a great place to anchor or beach a boat. We had a blast hiking and running the trails, paddling kayaks around the island, and mucking about in general.

Here's a shot from the Anacortes to Orcas ferry ride. This guy was just killing it. The acoustics were amazing.
