Just writes that in one and a half circumnavigation and 17 years of cruising he chose not to “fight the sea” even when he went to weather! And that was plenty times including the trip from Porta Vallarta to LA , 11 days with strong wind on the nose and 50 mile tack due east and then 50 miles to west. My point is that I choose to “roll with the punchs” (Or tack with them) and never fight where you can not win… that is what I think. However it is all in the communication whether sang or written and it’s the attitude that counts, right?
