You're a heartier sailor than me if you could sail in NJ in January. Looks to me that it would be best if I could get down to NC, or even better to SC. I appreciate your suggestions about where to stay and sights to see. If I can't get as far south as I would like, I might just hire a captain to sail the boat down to warmer waters.
