I am at a crossroads as far as sailing goes. I am either going to seriously upgrade my current boat (Allied Princess 36 ketch) or build a new smaller boat. If I upgrade the Allied, the changes will include going to a leisure furl system for the main along with a repower and possibly electric genoa winches to replace the Andersen 40ST winches I have now. Of course, if I go that route I will do a lot of other stuff to the boat (paint, new toe rails and cockpit coamings, refridgeraton and maybe even an autopilot). So what do those of you who have converted to Leisure furl systems have to say about them. I have used one exactly once and liked it, but that is hardly a try out.

I know that upgrading my Allied doesn't make economic sense, but neither does building a new custom boat, although building a new boat would be fun
