I would consider Barrillas . . .bring your paint.

If you haven't been there yet - this is a stop well worth it. They haul out the shrimp fleet here. If your just doing a bottom job . . you would most likely use their rail system. They use moorings for docking . When it gets a tad to hot - go to the pool and hang out with other cruisers. Very clean grounds, great showers and just a real neat setting overall. It is also a great place to re-provision and hang out. WiFi, Palapa/Casita restaurant, swimming pool, lots of great walking and dinghying around the river delta. They have a van that goes into Usulatan twice a week for shopping and such. When we were there, Dan had to fly home, and I stayed on the boat - what a great vacation I had, despite the fact that our starter battery went out, and the Yahama outboard stopped working. Got a new battery and the outboard fixed no problem. This was one of my most favorite stops on the west coast. The people here are wonderful - I was very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of everyone in this country.
