Sorry about the blur -- my only excuse is that it was shot through a wavy glass antique house window using a point-and-shoot with 18x zoom telephoto set to auto-focus. (In other words: A few factors were working against me in trying to get a sharp image).

But was happy to get the shot, it took off seconds after I took the photo. The wingspan must have been at least 3 feet, and the branch it's on is probably 4+ inches in diameter. What a beautiful bird! (I was thinking perhaps a toy-sized dog or house cat might be vulnerable to a bird this size).
