We had Micron 66 (ablative) highly rayed by Practical Sailor. Now have VC Offshore, a hard, more racing finish that's well rated by PS.
I have concluded that aside from environmental issues with cleaning, an ablative paint really does limitless good at speeds that sailboats move -- let alone that at a dock or mooring, they do nothing.
If you have a powerboat, then the would ablate and do their thing. Otherwise, I see no advantage.
I know nothing of the Ship paint -- but I wonder how the name would apply.
