Sounds like your best option is to find another place to keep her and drive further to go sailing?

That might not be a bad thing. Bridge maintenance scaffolding prevented us from going to our normal winter storage yard this year, so we found another marina about 20 miles further away. I don't like the drive, but the other place is giving us better service for the same money, and the boat is safer.

PS -- I found that mobile cranes are less expensive to rent (with operator) if you go to a construction company (who rents it as a side income) than a rental company who's in the crane rental business.
