We could go back accross the bay to our old marina, however it is an hour on a good day to get there. The facilities have been deteriorating due to state budget cuts and a change in governors with different priorities. It is on a state park which is a host to an ever increasing number of events that cause enormous traffic bottlenecks. The trip could take even longer depending on what is going on.

We could also move about 500 yards away to another marina with deeper water, however the slip fees are three times what we pay now plus we would have to pay for hauling, launching and winter storage. Where we now pay around $1200 a season for membership and slip fees, we would be looking at $4,000.
