Such a great thing to do with your daughter. That she's posting along is quite a learning experience outside of the norm. My wife was all over your budget figures and details and wants to follow your blog. We know you can do it short term, we've done a few expensive areas like London and Paris on about a $100 per day with two young kids. But that didn't include lodging. Pretty impressive that you're fitting into your budget so far, nice going.
Can you pick up any Woofing spots for a while? I see you're in Rome. That alone is a life experience for a kid, but to spend so much time there, I'm envious!

BTW, I think one of the best things are kids learned while traveling, is how to budget minute to minute along the way(good for life in general). You can eat your way through a day out of small stores and shops and even stop at an occasional Bistro along the way. You just have to set a budget and stick to it. Good luck!
