If you want fresh to cook on board, Cockrell's Creek seafood & Deli across the creek.
If the better half like to live large, try the Tides Inn in Irvington. A marina berth gets you "room rights" that include use of the swimming pool etc. If you're looking for a place to hang out before hitting the ICW in Portsmouth in November . . . the Tides has a lovely comfy lounge with a huge fireplace. Oh, and a bar, restaurant, golf, a spa, etc. Couple of boatyards nearby of you want to poke around looking at boats.
