It was analogous to a joke that's way too long with a punch line that leaves you with "Huh? What's so funny about that?"
The technical aspects were simply amazing, however, and it was worth it for the visuals. But, it started to drag for me (my wife also thought it dragged) so I was feeling it was becoming laborious and the 10 minutes or so of dialogue at the end (story #2) was very difficult to understand. The combination of the heavy Indian accent in conjunction with lo soun levels (at momends n the dial ogee) caused me miss portions words so I was focused on word/sentence comprehension and result story comprehension ook a hit. I didn't think I got it all, and in the end I got partial comprehension of about 10 or so critical minutes that was the culmination of a 2-hour plus movie that took way too long to tell the story.
I rate it 2.5 stars. (5 stars for visual and 1 star for effectivley communicating the story.) People who read the analysis you linked to will probably get a lot more out of it.
