And after 12 years, including some hard sailing, I can tell you that if you've got solid layup and good backing you're good to go. Several sister boats have made ocean crossings, too.
There is NO way your drogue loads will exceed the type of stresses on these structural cross beams shown in my image. BTW, that cable bent below the ama connects to a chainplate on the main hull (where the stand is) for triangulation to limit upward stresses. That cable is (guessing) 16-20 mm dyform. Serious loads.
