Oh sure NOW I hear these things.

Well, we're gonna have some peaks and valleys about which I have been concerned about wear but......like so many other aspects of life, it is what's it is and there's always tomorrow. Of course at 66 I begin to realize there aren't as many tomorrows as there used to be but heck, keep on sluggin' is my motto.

Since Kiwigrip is color included, so to speak, and I understand it's easy to recoat worn areas, AND since the Jaunty project was begun to be and will be finished to be a work boat level of finish, it oughta work for me, it will work for me at this point subject to easy alteration down the roa...uh, river.

We rushed a bit to get the nonskid on trying to make the Depoe Bay Wooden Boat show (which in the end we did not make) so used the loopy roller and went for it. Next time there'll be more time if it's needed.

Here's a shot of the 'in the water' boats among the local 'glass craft. All small, wooden boats of many varieties from small dink to around 22' or so both in the water and on the shore. This is the bay, under that bridge is a rock bolstered exit to the Pacific which can be quite hairy at times. See photo below of the entry, next post as I've not figured out more than one.
