I applied the boat name this weekend... then removed it before the adhesive set firmly.

1) I had aligned the letters with the rub rail instead of the waterline -- looking at it afterward I realized that's just wrong.
2) Decided I didn't really care for the block letter style either. Will try a different style next time (a script). The Admiral agrees.

Chalk it up to a learning experience.
