Can You SEE the NoSeeUm's in the Photo?

Hi Blye! We anchored literally just across from your arrow off the little inlet on port side of the river ... and were almost carried away by the noseeums the next morning. Very disappointing - the night before the wind was blasting 17-22 and it was rough outside, absolutely NO bugs at sunset, which surprised us. But by the next morning, the wind had completely died and David's white shirt was literally BLACK just in the time it took to get the anchor up.

Also, up the river, you need to be careful about a scoured bottom with the current - we had to reset a couple of times before we got the anchor to sink.

But I cannot wait to go further up the river and explore via kayak & dinghy. But NOT this late in the year - should have done it on our way down to the Keys in February!

Cheers -- Jan

P.S. Photo is of sunrise over the Little Shark River -- can you SEE the noseeums? Believe me, they were thick!
