One aspect of cruising is you are closer to other local adventures. Our boat is parked "on the hard" in Panama and we're in Spanish School in Guatemala. Here a pic of Semuc Champey where we took a week off studying to see the attraction in Guatemala. It is a magical place and should anyone get here; say the Rio Dulce, then visiting is well worth it. BTW swimming in the pools as of now is accptable and a stage 4 white water rapids event is going on under all the pools.
