I keep the boom hanging close to the shop ceiling for the winter. Just today I lowered it to the working position, along with the wood spreaders, for a good sanding and a first coat of varnish. Got the heat turned up so I'm hoping to get the second coat on tomorrow afternoon. Clever idea with the fan belts. I think mine are all on the boat. While emptying storage bins to pull wire I came across a rather impressive collection.
