My roof location for the transducer is only 30 feet above where the display will be so I don't care if it's hardwired.

Sent an email to Rainwise and found that there's a 'long distance' version that will transmit 1,000 feet and is updated every 2 seconds. That's nice but the cost is quite a bit more than I want to spend.

I miss having that connection to weather now that we're in a house on land most of the time.
