... his report today says "Sun into Mon should be fine for west-bound sailing with moderate ENE Trades and settled weather". He seems to indicate your next window might not be until Saturday. From the other weather sites I checked, they concur. I think I'd go, I'm assuming you're a S/V ? It's not that far, what is it, under 50nm. It'll take you +/- 7 hours. Head for My-yammy and wind up in Lickerdale with the Stream push. It'll be lumpy in the Stream, but shouldn't be that bad, I doubt it'll be ugly, and you'll be reaching, maybe on the quarter with the vectoring, but you shouldn't be DDW. The good thing according to Parker is no quails Sunday. Later in the week looks like going to see squalls, more wind, potential nastiness, and unsettled weather. I think I'd take a bit of lumpiness versus squalls, nastiness and dead-downwind once the wind goes E. And sitting in Bimini for a week.
Sailflow showing Bimini winds for Sunday NE 15 all day, then increasing to 18 mid to late afternoon, but under 20 until late Sunday night. Building and going more E from then on through Friday. I would go first light Sunday. Wave height 3-4 feet from the north, occasional 5-6. It's going to be a bit unpleasant when those waves oppose the Stream for a few hours, but I would think terrible.
Sailflow says wind Gov't Cut 11-15 NE until 9 Sunday night. Port Everglades low teens and NE all day & all night Sunday, 3-4 foot seas.
If these forecasts are correct, it should not be that bad, a bit salty. Keep us posted ! Fair winds, cheers, John
