I seem to be getting a negative reading on my older Ample meter. It's after a week on the Xantrex 40 charger while the boat is on the dock during the week. It read -25 this weekend. The refrig is running during the week as usual. This has never happened before. Usually, when the charger is on float, the meter will read a couple of amps negative while the frige is running and then goes to a couple amps positive when it cycles off. I've never experienced a "pile" of negative amps after a week on the charger before.

I went for a sail Saturday which did not reset to zero while there was no charge. Running the engine for about half an hour did not reset it either.

The bank is two 4D, flooded, going into their 5th season.

Before I left the boat today, in " rebooted" the meter by removing the fuse and reconnected. That reset it to zero.
