This was my second painting of the hull. Last time was a one-part that I applied in Malaysia. I don't remember its name, but it had a good reputation there as a marine paint. That was almost five years ago. Yes, the boat looked like hell, should have done again after one, maybe two years, but I didn't get a chance again in Asia. Arrived home a couple years ago and haven't had the time to do it myself or the money to pay someone.
Now she looks shockingly presentable after two coats of primer and three of Perfection. Was surprised how easy Perfection was to roll and tip with my wife. Not a big boat, Vancouver 27, but we applied each top coat in 2-3 hours. There are flaws, but not bad at all for a 35-year-old boat.
Now kinda sorry I'm putting her up for sale, but need to pay for gear on the Tayana we just bought.
