... back in the 60s was like reading about gladiator battles ... the boats and crews were living legends in their day. Epic battles, intrigue, new sails unveiled during the race such as the 'gollywobbler' with its massive overlap ... lots of grist for the imagination ... and if there is a name cooler than De Coursey Fales, owner of Nina, I don't know it.

Very sad story. I have met the woman who made Nina's last SSB communications and she owns a sistership of mine. Whatever transpired, bless the crew and I hope we learn what happened.
